Real stories from our patients showcasing how our advanced, non-surgical treatments have improved their mobility, reduced pain, and enhanced their quality of life.
I had Osteoarthritis in both knees. I underwent stem cell as well as PRP therapy, and I reckon I'm in the region of 60% to 75% improvement, which is brilliant. The orthopaedic surgeon doctor who treated me was very pleasant, honest and genuinely a nice man. I would recommend this treatment.

I had Stem cells in my 2 knees as I didn’t want to have surgery. I am now getting in and out of my car easier, walking up hills and back to gardening. I went from 7/8 painkillers a day to not taking any now. I have recommended the treatment to a lot of people, and they have all been very, very interested.

Just finished my sessions. Lovely staff and Doctor really is a lovely doctor. I’m very happy with my results. Thank you to All. I can walk now, when I went there first I was limping no joke. Surgery was my only other option. So I took my chance and went to Medica Stem Cells. I would say it's a 90% improvement on where I was.

Medica Pain Management specialises in non-surgical treatments that can help reduce pain and improve function for various orthopedic conditions.
Our procedures are designed to address joint pain, ligament and tendon injuries, and conditions such as arthritis and degenerative joint issues. By using advanced techniques, including bone marrow concentrate, we aim to support the body’s natural healing processes.
If you’re experiencing joint or musculoskeletal pain, our skilled physicians will create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your needs.
The recovery time can vary depending on the condition that is being treated. However, following injections, it is advisable to take it easy for about two weeks and avoid long walks or standing for long periods, especially in case of knee or hip treatment. If you work in an office or as a driver, it is possible to return to work immediately. After the two weeks, you can gradually increase your activity. You will most likely be able to return to light work after two weeks, depending on the nature of your job. However, full instructions will be given on the day.
It is possible to treat more than one area in the same session. However, it would be at the advice of the doctor based on your unique case. Medica Pain Management Clinics’ procedures offer a choice of treatment protocols most suitable to the patient to ensure the best possible outcome. The doctor considers many factors like your age, lifestyle, existing conditions, comorbidities and any other relevant factors.
The full treatment package is available only at Medica Pain Management clinics in Ireland and includes Regenerative treatment and physiotherapy support. Personalised post-treatment care is also part of the package, including detailed post-treatment instruction manuals and orthotic assessment if required in your case.
Regenerative therapy is an ortho biological treatment and needs some time for the cells to repair the damaged or injured cells in the affected areas. The time it takes to work is very individual for every patient. Most patients will experience reduced pain and improved mobility over time. Generally speaking, you could start to see noticeable improvement after 30 days. However, you should not expect to see the full effect of the treatment earlier than six months, especially in the case of joint interventions. Variables like the type of disease or condition, age, lifestyle, comorbidities, general health and other factors also affect the outcome and length of recovery.
